Are you looking for a transformative experience? A trip to Egypt will allow you to connect with an ancient civilization and feel the magic of a place that has captivated humanity for millennia.
Day 1: We arrive in Cairo!
We will begin our adventure by landing at Cairo airport, where we will be greeted and assisted with all procedures to ensure a quick and easy process. Then, we will transfer to the Jaz Pyramids Resort, where we can relax.
Day 2: Discovering the Pyramids of Giza and Ancient Cairo
We will visit the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the majestic Sphinx, and the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, not forgetting the tombs of the nobles, filled with history and mysteries.
After lunch, we will head to El Moez Street, in the heart of medieval Cairo. We will stroll through this area filled with mosques, ancient houses, and markets, soaking up the local history and culture. To end the day, we will visit the famous Khan El Khalili market, a perfect place to enjoy the Egyptian atmosphere and do some shopping. After this day, we will head to Fayum, where we will spend the night at the Palm Shadow Hotel.
Day 3: Exploring Fayum and Its Millennia-Old Past
First, we will visit the basalt quarry and the ancient pharaonic causeway, two impressive remnants of ancient Egypt. Then, we will explore the Petrified Forest and its open-air museum, where we will see fossils dating back millions of years.
Our next stop will be the Temple of Qasr El Sagha and the ruins of the city of Demi El Seba to learn more about Egyptian civilization. We will take a break to enjoy a picnic lunch in a natural setting. In the afternoon, we will take a stroll through the charming village of Tunis, famous for its ceramics and picturesque streets. Finally, we will return to the Palm Shadow Hotel for the night.
Day 4: Adventure in the Rayan Valley and the Desert
Today, we will explore the spectacular Rayan Valley and its lakes, a hidden gem in the Egyptian desert. After that, we will venture on a hike through the stunning Whale Valley (Wadi Al Hitan), where we can admire the fossils of ancient whales that tell stories from millions of years ago.
We will have lunch in the valley and continue to Gabal El Modawara, where we can enjoy stunning views of the desert. Our last stop will be the Magic Lake, where the more adventurous can try sandboarding or take a refreshing dip. In the evening, we will return to the Palm Shadow Hotel to rest.
Day 5: Return to Cairo and More History
Today, we will return to Cairo, but first, we will stop in Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt. There, we will see the impressive Colossus of Ramses II and explore the open-air museum. For lunch, we will head to the tranquil Saqqara Lotus Farm.
Afterward, we will visit Saqqara, famous for the stepped pyramid of Zoser, considered the first pyramid built in Egypt. Ainània will guide us in a ritual in this ancient city. We will also explore the tombs of the nobles and the pyramid complex of Onas. At the end of the day, we will relax at the Jaz Pyramids Resort.
Day 6: Free Day and Farewell to Cairo
This day will be free for us to enjoy Cairo at our own pace. We will be able to stroll around the city, go shopping, or simply relax at the hotel. At the end of the day, we will head to the airport, where they will assist us with the procedures for our departure, thus concluding this wonderful experience in Egypt.
